We use a report from Conklin & deDecker to determine relative in-kind costs donated by our volunteer pilots. Please note that we don't release these numbers to our volunteer pilots as it is an internal report used to file our 990s and to inform our grant and fundraising proposals.
In order to cover a broad range of aircraft that might be used for our missions, we curated a list of common aircraft types. If your aircraft type is not listed in the options, please select a suitable alternative. This selection may not provide the exact correct hourly aircraft operating cost, but it will be sufficient for our reporting purposes.
We encourage you to reach out to your tax advisor to determine your actual cost of flying. If you need help to access a list of your missions for tax purposes, please consult the following Support Article: Are Angel Flights tax deductible?
